The reference date for each general assessment is the date listed in Column 2. TABLE Column 1 General Assessment Column 2 Reference Date 2016 April 1, 2014 2018 April 1, 2016 2020 April 1, 2018 2023 April 1, 2021 2025 April 1, 2023 2027 April 1, 2025 Every second year after 2027 April 1 in every second year after 2025 Conservation land 2 For the purpose of clauses 9(8)⁠(c) and 13(8)⁠(c) of The Municipal Assessment Act , the time period preceding the applicable reference date during which conservation land must be in an undeveloped and natural state is six years. Coming into force 3 This regulation comes into force on January 1, 2009, or on the day it is registered under The Regulations Act , whichever is later.
