This regulation defines terms, designates listed watersheds and watershed district boards, and starts when Part 1 of another Act starts.

W65 Regulation 142/2019 Registered December 19, 2019 bilingual version (HTML) Definitions 1 The following definitions apply in this regulation. "Act" means The Water Protection Act . («  Loi  ») "table" means the table set out in the Schedule to this regulation. (« tableau ») Designation of watersheds 2 A watershed named in the first column of the table is, for the purpose of clause 14(a) of the Act, designated and has boundaries as shown on the map set out in the Schedule to this regulation. Designation of water planning authorities 3 The board of a watershed district named in the second column of the table is, for the purpose of clause 14(b) of the Act, designated as the water planning authority for the corresponding watershed named in the first column of the table. Coming into force 4 This regulation comes into force on the same day that Part 1 of The Sustainable Watersheds Act (Various Acts Amended) , S.M. 2018, c. 6, comes into force.
