This regulation allows licensed game-bird hunters to hunt in the Grants Lake and Oak Hammock managed hunting areas, but only under the listed conditions and area limits.

( « zone de chasse contrôlée d'Oak Hammock ») Hunting permitted in managed hunting areas 2 Subject to the conditions set out in this regulation, a person who possesses a valid licence to hunt game birds in Manitoba may hunt or kill a game bird in the Grants Lake Managed Hunting Area or the Oak Hammock Managed Hunting Area during an applicable hunting season. Landowner's permission form 3 The minister shall make a landowner's permission form available for use by persons who are required by this regulation to possess a completed form in order to hunt or kill a game bird in the Grants Lake Managed Hunting Area or the Oak Hammock Managed Hunting Area. Oak Hammock M.H.A. restrictions 4(1) No person shall hunt or kill a game bird in the Oak Hammock Managed Hunting Area unless the person is in possession of a landowner's permission form, signed by the owner or lawful occupant of the land on which the person is hunting, giving the person permission to hunt on that land on that date. 4(2) and (3) [Repealed] M.R. 138/2003 Exceptions 4(4) Subsection (1) does not apply to (a) the owner or lawful occupant of land in the Oak Hammock Managed Hunting Area who hunts on that land; or (b) an immediate family member of a person referred to in clause (a) who resides with that person and who hunts on that person's land. 4(5) [Repealed] M.R. 110/2012 Size of acreage 4(6) No more than six persons shall hunt on a quarter section of land in the Oak Hammock Managed Hunting Area in any one day. If the acreage on which persons are hunting is less than a quarter section in size, no more than four persons shall hunt on that land in any one day. M.R. 138/2003 ; 110/2012 Grants Lake M.H.A. private land restriction 5(1) No person shall hunt or kill a game bird on private land in the Grants Lake Managed Hunting Area unless the person is in possession of a landowner's permission form, signed by the owner or lawful occupant of the land on which the person is hunting, giving the person permission to hunt on that land on that date. Exception 5(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to (a) the owner or lawful occupant of land in the Grants Lake Managed Hunting Area who hunts on that land; or (b) an immediate family member of a person referred to in clause (a) who resides with that person and who hunts on that person's land. Grants Lake M.H.A. Crown land restriction 5(3) No person shall hunt or kill a game bird on Crown land, including any road allowance, in the Grants Lake Managed Hunting Area unless the person hunts at a site that is marked by a numbered post that has been provided for that purpose by the minister. The person may leave the site for the purpose of retrieving a game bird that the person has wounded or killed, but must return to the site before continuing hunting. Number of hunters 5(4) No more than two persons shall hunt at a site referred to in subsection (3). The first two persons to arrive at a site each day have the right to hunt at that site on that day. Size of acreage 5(5) No more than six persons shall hunt on a quarter section of land in the Grants Lake Managed Hunting Area in any one day. If the acreage on which persons are hunting is less than a quarter section in size, no more than four persons shall hunt on that land in any one day. M.R. 110/2012 Repeal 6 The Oak Hammock Waterfowl Control Area and Oak Hammock and Grants Lake Managed Hunting Areas Regulation, Manitoba Regulation 186/91, is repealed.
