This regulation withdraws specified lands in several parks from the named municipalities and district, and it comes into force when The Provincial Parks Act is proclaimed.
Park Lands Withdrawn from Local Governments Regulation, M.R. 149/96 The Provincial Parks Act , C.C.S.M. c. P20 Regulation 149/96 Registered July 22, 1996 bilingual version (HTML) Whiteshell Provincial Park 1 The following lands within the Rural Municipality of Whitemouth and contained in Whiteshell Provincial Park are withdrawn from the Rural Municipality of Whitemouth: All those portions of Sections 25 to 36 inclusive in Township 13, Range 12 East, which lie to the South of the Winnipeg River. Grand Beach Provincial Park 2 The following lands within the Rural Municipality of St. Clements and contained in Grand Beach Provincial Park are withdrawn from the Rural Municipality of St. Clements: Firstly, all that portion of fractional Section 24 in Township 18 in Range 6 East, all or all those portions of fractional Sections 19, 20, 29, 30 and 32 in Township 18 in Range 7 East, together with adjoining government road allowances, which lie within Grand Beach Provincial Park as shown bordered red on a plan filed in the office of the Director of Surveys at Winnipeg as No. 15397. Secondly, all that portion of the fractional North-West quarter of Section 17 in Township 18 in Range 7 East which lies to the east of Lake Winnipeg, according to a plan of that Township approved and confirmed at Ottawa on June 28, 1912. Birds Hill Provincial Park 3 The following lands within the Rural Municipality of Springfield and contained in Birds Hill Provincial Park are withdrawn from the Rural Municipality of Springfield: All those portions of the Township 12, Ranges 4 and 5 East, contained within the boundaries of the Birds Hill Provincial Park as same is shown bordered by a dashed line on a plan filed in the Winnipeg Land Titles Office as No. 9978, including all government road allowances as shown coloured green on that plan. Birds Hill Provincial Park 4 The following lands within the Rural Municipality of St. Clements and contained in Birds Hill Provincial Park are withdrawn from the Rural Municipality of St. Clements: All those portions of the Outer Two Miles of the Parish of Saint Andrews in Manitoba contained within the boundaries of the Birds Hill Provincial Park as same is shown bordered by a dashed line on a plan filed in the Winnipeg Land Titles Office as No. 9978, including in the above described lands all government road allowances as shown coloured green on that plan. Paint Lake Provincial Recreation Park 5 The following lands within the Local Government District of Mystery Lake and contained in Paint Lake Provincial Recreation Park are withdrawn from the Local Government District of Mystery Lake: All those portions of Townships 74, 75 and 76, Range 3 West, Townships 74 and 75, Range 4 West, and Township 75 in Range 5 West, including land and land covered by water required for the Paint Lake Provincial Recreation Area as the same is shown bordered pink on a plan of record filed in the office of the Director of Surveys at Winnipeg as No. 17350A and containing an area of 55,950 acres more or less. Turtle Mountain Provincial Park 6 The following lands within the Rural Municipality of Morton and contained in Turtle Mountain Provincial Park are withdrawn from the Rural Municipality of Morton: Sections 4 to 9, the N 1/2 of Section 10, Sections 15 to 22, Sections 27 to 34 and all those portions of the N 1/2 of Section 11 and of Sections 14, 23, 26 and 35 which lie to the west of the western limit of Provincial Trunk Highway No. 10, all in Township 1, Range 20 West, as same is shown colored pink on a plan deposited in the Boissevain Land Titles Office as No. 259; all of Sections 1 to 36, in Township 1, Range 21 West, together with all government road allowances which lie between those sections or parts of sections and the government road allowance which lies between the most southern boundary of the tract of land above described and the boundary between Canada and the United States of America. Turtle Mountain Provincial Park 7 The following lands within the Rural Municipality of Winchester and contained in Turtle Mountain Provincial Park are withdrawn from the Rural Municipality of Winchester: All of Sections 1, 2, 11, 12, 13, 14, 24, 25, and 36, the E 1/2 of Section 23 and the SE 1/4 of Section 26, and the SE 1/4 of Section 15 lying to the East of Sharpe Lake as shown on a plan of said Township approved and confirmed at Ottawa on September 23, 1889, by W. F. King for the Surveyor General of Dominion Lands, in Township 1, Range 22 West, together with all government road allowances which lie between those sections or parts of sections and the government road allowance which lies between the most southern boundary of those lands and the boundary between Canada and the United States of America, excepting out of the NW 1/4 of Section 14 in Township 1, Range 22 West, all that portion lying to the north and west of the northwestern shore of Sharpe Lake as shown on a plan of the Township approved and confirmed at Ottawa on September 23, 1889 by W. F. King for the Surveyor General of Dominion Lands (subject to Plan of Water Storage registered in the Boissevain Land Titles Office as No. 328). Coming into force 8 This regulation comes into force on the proclamation of The Provincial Parks Act , S.M. 1993, c. 39.
