SNL1995 CHAPTER A-4.2 AGE OF MAJORITY ACT Amended: CHAPTER A-4.2 AN ACT RESPECTING THE ATTAINMENT OF THE AGE OF MAJORITY (Assented to December 21, 1995) Analysis 1. Short title 2. Attainment of majority 3. Time of attainment Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Age of Majority Act. 1995 cA-4.2 s1 Back to Top Attainment of majority 2. Every person who attains the age of 19 years (a) attains the age of majority; and (b) ceases to be a minor person. 1995 cA-4.2 s2 Back to Top Time of attainment 3. (1) The time at which a person attains a particular age expressed in years shall be the commencement of a relevant anniversary of that person's birth.
