CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 134/96 Town of Conception Harbour Order under the Municipalities Act (O.C. 96-170) Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order. The boundaries of the Town of Conception Harbour are as set out in the Schedule. Back to Top Repeal 3. Newfoundland Regulation 245/88 is repealed. Back to Top Schedule Beginning at a point on the highwater mark on the northernmost tip of Colliers Point; Then south 15° 00' west a distance of 3,800 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being a height of land overlooking Big Brook; Then south 42° 30' west a distance of 2,825 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being the centre line of a road locally known as Cemetery Road; Then south 63° 15' west a distance of 1,550 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being a height of land some 150 metres, more or less, west of a road locally known as Old Road; Then due west a distance of 350 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being on the eastern bank of the Colliers River; Then in a southwesterly direction along the eastern bank of the river to a point, that point being the intersection of the bank with the centre line of Healey's Pond Road ; Then south 68° 15' west a distance of 3,250 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being the centre line of the Canadian National Railway right?of-way at which point it passes under the Trans Canada Highway near the west end of Gushue's Pond Provincial Park; Then in a southeasterly direction along the eastern road reservation of the Trans Canada Highway to a point, that point being the centre point of the eastern abutment of the overpass at the east end of Gushue's Pond Provincial Park; Then north 46° 30' east a distance of 3,775 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being the highest point of elevation of Blue Hills; Then north 44° 30' east a distance of 3,500 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being the highwater mark on the southeastern shoreline of Middle Arm; Then in a general northeasterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline at the highwater mark, passing Middle Point, Conception Harbour , Kitchuses, Bacon Cove to Colliers Point, the point of beginning.
