About this statute

This provision sets home-plan administration rules for vendors, builders, purchasers, and owners, including document delivery, claim filing, conciliation timing, and some fee amounts. This provision sets claim forms, deadlines, conciliation steps, fees, compensation limits, and fund rules for certain home warranty claims. A new-home vendor must pay the owner $150 per day, up to $15,000 per home, when the home is uninhabitable because of a covered warranty condition; the vendor may instead provide reasonable alternative accommodation at its own expense.
