About this statute

This provision sets out the Association’s council election structure, eligibility rules, committee roles, and licensing requirements. This provision sets conditions for temporary, provisional, and limited engineering licences, rules for certificate holders, document sealing requirements, and related conduct and ethics obligations. Practitioners must act loyally for their employer, keep employer information confidential, disclose conflicts to clients, and follow several conduct rules when working with clients and other practitioners. The Registrar and Council also get limited powers in public-interest and communication-interruption situations.
