NOTICES

Notice re proposed amendment to a growth plan 1. (1) For the purposes of clause 10 (3) (a) of the Act, the Minister shall ensure that the notice required by that clause is given to all persons, public bodies and other bodies that, in the opinion of the Minister, are reasonably affected by the proposed amendment to a growth plan. O. Reg. 520/10, s. 1 (1). (2) The Minister shall ensure that the notice is given by mail, e-mail, fax or personal service. O. Reg. 520/10, s. 1 (2). (3) If the notice is required to be given to a municipality, it shall be given to the clerk of the municipality. O. Reg. 520/10, s. 1 (3). (4) As part of the notice, the Minister shall ensure that notice of the proposed amendment is given on the environmental registry established under section 5 of the Environmental Bill of Rights, 1993. O. Reg. 520/10, s. 1 (4). Notice of hearing 2. (1) For the purposes of clause 11 (1) (b) of the Act, the hearing officer shall ensure that the notice required by that clause is given to all persons, public bodies and other bodies that, in the opinion of the Minister, are reasonably affected by the subject matter of the hearing. O. Reg. 520/10, s. 2 (1). (2) The hearing officer shall ensure that the notice is given by mail, e-mail, fax or personal service. O. Reg. 520/10, s. 2 (2). (3) If the notice is required to be given to a municipality, the hearing officer shall ensure that the notice is given to the clerk of the municipality and, in addition, is, (a) posted in a public place in the municipality; or (b) published in a newspaper that, in the opinion of the hearing officer, is of sufficiently general circulation in the municipality that it would give the public reasonable notice of the hearing.
