E-6.2, Council made the following regulations: 1. Act, defined In these regulations, “Act” means the Employment Standards Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. E-6.2. (EC588/10) 2. Oath of office (1) The following oath or affirmation of office is prescribed for members of the board for the purposes of subsection 4(8) of the Act: “I do solemnly swear/affirm (select one) that I will faithfully, truly and impartially, to the best of my judgment, skill and ability, execute and perform the office of member of the Employment Standards Board and will not, except in the discharge of my duties disclose to any person any of the evidence or other matter brought before the said board. So help me God/I so affirm” (select one). Idem (2) A member of the board shall make, and sign a copy of, the oath or affirmation of office prescribed under subsection (1) before a judge of the Supreme Court. Idem (3) A member of the board shall ensure that the copy of the oath or affirmation that has been signed by the member, and by the judge of the Supreme Court before whom the oath or affirmation is made, is filed with the Minister.
