F-9, Council made the following regulations: 1. The licenses and permits prescribed for the purposes of clauses 4.1(1)(d) and 4.2(1)(e) of the Act are set out in the Schedule to these regulations. (EC429/03) c t Updated November 8, 2005 Page 3 Financial Administration Act Financial Assistance Enforcement Regulations SCHEDULE SCHEDULE PRESCRIBED LICENSES AND PERMITS Issuing Department/ License/ Permit/ Description of License/Permit Enabling Act/Regulations Agency Certificate Agriculture and Forestry License License to operate a companion Companion Animal animal establishment (pet store). Protection Act Section 10.2 Agriculture and Forestry License License to process, grade, transport Dairy Industry Act or distribute milk products. Regulations Section 2 Community and Cultural Plant License License for a person, firm or Boiler and Pressure Affairs corporation storing or distributing Vessels Act Regulations gas, installing or servicing gas Section 9.09 systems or equipment or operating a propane dispenser unit for filling portable cylinders. Community and Cultural Electrical Contractors License for a contractor to contract Electrical Inspection Act Affairs License or engage for the work of installing, Regulations extending, changing or repairing of Section 5 electrical installations. Community and Cultural Electrical Permit Permit for contractor to install, repair Electrical Inspection Act Affairs or change an electrical installation. Regulations Section 17 Community and Cultural Plant License License for a heating plant, Powers Engineer Act Affairs refrigeration plant and power plants Section 6 – First to Fourth Class Plants and Refrigeration Class “A” and “B”. Education Certificate of Certificate or renewal of registration Private Training Schools Registration and for owner or operator of a private Act Annual Renewal of training school. Section 4 Certificate of Registration Education Licensing of Private License for a private school that School Act Schools (Elementary provides elementary or secondary Section 133 or Secondary) school programs. Fisheries, Aquaculture Waste Resource Permit to build and operate a waste Environmental Protection and Environment Management Permit resource management facility. Act Waste Resource Management Regulations Sections 2 & 65. Fisheries, Aquaculture Primary Processing License for operator of a processing Fisheries Act Regulations and Environment License establishment engaged in primary Sections 3 & 4 processing. Fisheries, Aquaculture Secondary Processing License for operator of a processing Fisheries Act Regulations and Environment License establishment engaged in secondary Sections 3 & 4 processing. Fisheries, Aquaculture License License to operate a business Pesticides Control Act and Environment offering the sale, use or application Regulations of pesticides. Sections 6 & 10 Social Services and License License issued to operate a child care Child Care Facilities Act Seniors facility. Pharmacy Act Section 9 Health License License to operate a slaughterhouse Public Health Act for commercial purposes. Section 10 Health Permit Permit to operate an ambulance. Public Health Act Section 29 Health Certificate Certificate approving eating Public Health Act establishment or licensed premises. Eating Establishments and Licensed Premises Regulations Section 41 Health License License to operate a trailer court, Public Health Act Summer camp ground or summer camp. Trailer Court, Tenting and Camp Areas Regulations Section 3 Health Permit Permit to operate a swimming pool. Public Health Act Swimming Pool and Waterslide Regulations Section 4 Provincial Treasury Marked Permit exempting farmers, fishers, Gasoline Tax Act Gasoline/Diesel Oil aquaculturists and others to Regulations Permit purchase gasoline/diesel oil tax Section 15 exempt. Provincial Treasury Manufacturer’s License to tobacco manufacturers to Health Tax Act License sell tobacco products to wholesalers. Section 2 Provincial Treasury Wholesaler Vendor’s License to wholesalers to sell tobacco Health Tax Act License products to vendors. Section 2 Provincial Treasury Retail Vendor’s License to vendors to sell tobacco Health Tax Act License products to consumers. Section 2 Provincial Treasury License Annual license fee for entertainment Revenue Tax Act devices. Section 5 Provincial Treasury Revenue Tax Permit exempting farmers, fishers Revenue Tax Act Exemption Permit and aquaculturists to purchase Section 12 specific items tax exempt. Provincial Treasury Vendor Registration Certificate exempting a retail vendor Revenue Tax Act Certificate to purchase goods for resale tax Section 14 exempt. Tourism Brew Pub License License for the sale and manufacture Liquor Control Act Liquor Control of beer brewed on the premises to Section 11 Commission patrons of licensed premises. Tourism Caterer’s License License held by the holder of a Dining Liquor Control Act Liquor Control Room License authorizing the sale of Section 11 Commission alcohol at a location approved by the Commission. Tourism Club License License for the sale of alcohol to club Liquor Control Act Liquor Control members and guests in licensed Section 11 Commission premises. Tourism Dining Room License License for the sale of alcohol with Liquor Control Act Liquor Control food to the general public in Section 11 Commission restaurants. Tourism Lounge License License for the sale of alcohol to the Liquor Control Act Liquor Control public in licensed premises. Section 11 Commission Tourism Military Canteen License for the sale of alcohol to Liquor Control Act Liquor Control License members and guests in licensed Section 11 Commission premises. Tourism Tourist Home License License for the sale of alcohol to Liquor Control Act Liquor Control registered guests of a Tourist Home Section 11 Commission for consumption on the premises. Tourism Winery, Brewers, Licenses for the manufacture of Liquor Control Act Liquor Control Micro Brewery, alcoholic beverages and the sale of Section 11 Commission Distiller’s Licenses alcoholic beverages as approved by the Commission. Tourism Class II Permits Permit for the holder to purchase Liquor Control Act Liquor Control and have in possession alcohol and Section 22 Commission to sell alcohol for consumption at any event of a private nature held in premises specified in the permit to persons invited to attend.
