If you find any errors or omissions in this consolidation, please contact: Legislative Counsel Office Tel: (902) 368-4292 Email: legislation@gov.pe.ca Certified Fisheries Organizations Support Act General Regulations Section 1 c CERTIFIED FISHERIES ORGANIZATIONS SUPPORT ACT Chapter C-2.1 GENERAL REGULATIONS Pursuant to section 10 of the Certified Fisheries Organizations Support Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. C- 2.1, Council made the following regulations: 1. Annual Support Fee The prescribed annual support fee payable, under subsection 8(1) of the Act, to a certified fisheries organization is $500. Additional certification requirements In addition to the eligibility criteria or requirements for certification required under subsection 7(3) of the Act, in order to be eligible for certification, a fisheries organization shall satisfy the Minister that the fisheries organization (a) has membership in each of the three counties in the province; and (b) has, as members at the time the fisheries organization applies for certification, at least 20% of the total number of persons who are fishers. (EC394/04) 3. Issuance of receipts A certified fisheries organization shall issue any necessary receipts to fishers for moneys received under the Act or these regulations.
