About this statute

This part sets up the medical laboratory technologists society and council, gives them governance and bylaw-making powers, and limits who may use protected titles. The society must file an annual report and members must comply with the Act and bylaws. Employers who end a member’s job for cause must report certain terminations, and appeals, reinstatement requests, filings, and service rules are set out. The provision also creates offences and fines for contravening section 20.
