These regulations define a few terms, exclude gasoline and oil from the Act, prescribe two forms, and set when the regulations come into force. The appendix forms also give the Sheriff seizure powers and require a bailee to keep and return seized goods on demand.

Interpretation 2 In these regulations: (a) “Act” means The Commercial Liens Act; (« loi ») (b) “form” means the appropriate form set out in the Appendix. (« formule ») 8 Feb 2002 cC-15.1 Reg 1 s2. Exceptions to application of Act 3(1) Gasoline and oil are goods excepted from the application of the Act. I agree to protect and indemnify you against any and all claims for damages and costs that may be made against you by reason of your acts under this authority.
