Import of Arms Permit

General Import Permit No. 60 The Secretary of State for External Affairs, pursuant to section 5 of the Import Permit Regulations, made by Order in Council P.C. 1978-3738 of December 14, 1978*, hereby issues the annexed General Import Permit No. 60. SOR/79-5, 1979 Canada Gazette Part II, p. 8 Ottawa, November 4, 1986 This permit may be cited as the Import of Arms Permit. Arms, ammunition and implements or munitions of war, as set out in items 70 to 73 of the Import Control List, may be imported into Canada under the authority of this General Import Permit on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada by the Minister of National Defence, the Minister of Supply and Services or the Solicitor General of Canada; or the Canadian Commercial Corporation when importing those goods on behalf of the persons referred to in paragraph (a).
