Statute overview

About this statute

This preamble says the signatory states agree to promote Ibero-American film coproduction to support cultural and audiovisual development. This provision defines “cinematographic works in coproduction” and sets the conditions they must meet. For purposes of the agreement, a cinematographic work is an audiovisual work that is registered, produced, and distributed by any system, process, or technology.
