About this statute
El Congreso faculta al ministerio competente para hacer transferencias de ciertos inmuebles en nombre de la Nación. Certain railway-related real estate may be transferred to Ferrovías, while other covered real estate goes to the social liabilities fund for sale. The national government is authorized, through the transportation ministry, to decide which of two entities will receive certain real estate free of charge and to sign the transfer deeds, including later clarification or amendment deeds. Certain immovable assets in central Buenaventura are described as not necessary for port activity and are stated to be non-commercializable once ceded. El Gobierno Nacional queda autorizado para decidir a cuál entidad debe cederse gratuitamente los inmuebles y para firmar las escrituras públicas de transferencia y, además, las escrituras aclaratorias o modificatorias que correspondan.
