Statute overview

About this statute

This preamble says Colombia and Venezuela entered into an agreement to detect, recover, and return certain stolen, abandoned, or seized transport vehicles. Each Contracting Party must take the necessary steps to capture and retain the vehicles covered by the agreement, and must immediately inform the other Party when those vehicles are present in its territory. If competent authorities identify certain transport vehicles as linked to the crimes in Article I, they must be made available to the relevant consular official, following the procedure adopted by the Binational Commission.
