About this statute
This law concerns the citizenship ID card and orders blood type to be included on it and on other identity documents. From the law’s start date, identification documents must include the holder’s blood type. El Registrador Nacional del Estado Civil debe adoptar el sistema de clasificación datisloscópica usado en el país y तय? The current identification document must be renewed before 1 January 1999, under the applicable rules and in conditions of economy, security, and reliability. Mientras concluya el proceso del artículo anterior, la cédula de ciudadanía laminada actual sigue produciendo los efectos civiles, administrativos y políticos previstos en las normas vigentes.
