Statute overview

About this statute

This provision introduces the agreement approving and promoting investment protection between Colombia and the United Kingdom. This article defines key terms for the agreement, including investment, returns, nationals, companies, and territory. Each Contracting Party must treat and protect investments of nationals or companies of the other Party fairly and equitably, must not use arbitrary or discriminatory measures against them, and must honor any obligations it has assumed about those investments.
