Declares El Templo de San Roque, in the San Roque neighborhood of Barranquilla, Atlántico, a National Monument. The Templo de San Roque in Barranquilla is declared a National Monument. La administración local, departamental y nacional debe cuidar y conservar el templo y include budget items each year for maintenance and conservation; the national government, through INVIAS, must fund the full restoration of the Templo de San Roque, and the Monuments Subdirectorate must study, approve, and assign project resources after the law is approved. The assigned funds are to be sent to Barranquilla and managed by a Conservation Board created for this law; fiscal oversight is exercised by the relevant Comptroller’s Offices. The article sets the membership of the San Roque National Monument Conservation Board and requires the board to compile the religious, spiritual, cultural, and sociological history of the temple and southeast Barranquilla.
