Statute overview

About this statute

This is the preamble to Law 263 of 1996, which states that the law was expressly repealed by Law 352 of 1997, article 65. The article changes the title of Decree-Law 1301 of 1994 to the new wording stated in the text. This article changes the rules so certain military, police, defense ministry, and related public-sector personnel may be affiliated with the SMP, and some groups are stated as affiliates. This provision changes two list items to cover specified civil and non-uniformed personnel from the Ministry of National Defence and the National Police, plus beneficiaries of death pensions for those groups.
