About this statute
This provision identifies Law 380 of 1997 and states that it raises the leprosy treatment subsidy to the value of one monthly legal minimum wage. Eligible Hansen’s disease patients and social cured patients receiving the monthly treatment subsidy must be paid an amount equal to one monthly legal minimum wage, starting 1 July 1997. Vacancies left by the death of subsidized leprosy patients are to be filled by leprosy patients who do not receive state aid for basic needs.
