About this statute

This text identifies Law 419 of 1997 as authorizing the Minister of Finance and Public Credit to recognize certain unpaid obligations of Caprecom as national public debt. This article is marked as repealed by article 16 of Law 781 of 2002. Caprecom must sign a performance agreement with the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit and the National Health Superintendence. If Caprecom is not at financial break-even or generating surpluses within six months after this law starts, the National Government must liquidate it. The director must send monthly certified progress reports, and the superintendents must give a technical opinion at the end of the period.
