About this statute

This text is the preamble to a tourism cooperation agreement between Chile and Colombia, stating the parties’ reasons for cooperating and their shared goal of strengthening tourism ties. Las partes deben facilitar la instalación y funcionamiento de oficinas oficiales de representación turística, y esas oficinas no pueden realizar actividades comerciales. Las partes deben facilitar y fomentar las actividades turísticas y el intercambio de funcionarios y expertos en turismo, dentro de su legislación interna y de sus posibilidades. Las partes deben darse facilidades recíprocas para impulsar el turismo y el intercambio de materiales e información turística. Ambas partes deben promover y facilitar inversiones de capital colombiano, chileno o conjunto en sus sectores turísticos.
