Statute overview

About this statute

This law authorizes internal public borrowing and creates the Peace Investment Fund. Bonds are redeemed at maturity at nominal value, may be used to pay certain DIAN-administered taxes and charges, and accrued interest is paid annually. Certain individuals and all legal entities must make a forced investment in Bonos de Solidaridad para la Paz during 1999 and 2000.
