Statute overview

About this statute

This law sets terms and responsibilities for carrying out, adopting, and applying stratification under specified laws and presidential decrees. Municipios y distritos must adopt, apply, and report on center-population stratifications within set deadlines. This article sets two maximum deadlines: 12 months to carry out and adopt the stratifications, and 18 months to apply them to the billing of public utility services. This article defines a geoeconomic homogeneous zone and a Family Agricultural Unit (UAF), and says the IGAC and certain local cadasters establish those zones within their jurisdiction.
