Statute overview

About this statute

This law expands the national government's authorization to enter external and internal public credit operations and similar operations, and to guarantee payment obligations of other state entities. The Government National’s authorizations are increased by US$4.5 billion to guarantee payment obligations of other state entities, subject to law and other express legal authorizations. The Nation is authorized to enter external or internal public credit operations, or both, up to US$2,000,000,000 to finance the Peace Investment Fund programs.
