Statute overview

About this statute

This law regulates the adequate and effective participation of women in decision-making levels of the different branches and organs of public power. This article defines “máximo nivel decisorio” as the highest-ranking positions within public entities across the three branches and organs of public power, at national, departmental, regional, provincial, district, and municipal levels. This article defines what counts as “other decision-making levels” for purposes of the law.
