Statute overview

About this statute

This is the preamble to Law 608 of 2000, which says the Congress of Colombia amended and added to Decrees 258 and 350 of 1999 and issued other provisions. This provision designates certain municipalities as the affected zone for the January 25, 1999 earthquake. For new companies, the law’s exemptions last 10 years from the year the company is installed in the affected zone.
