The Nation honors the memory and work of Simón Bolívar and the Liberator Army in connection with the 1819 Liberation Campaign anniversary.

ARTÍCULO 1o. Con ocasión de conmemorarse en el presente año el centésimo octogésimo aniversario de la Campaña Libertadora de 1819, la Nación honra y exalta la memoria y la obra de Simón Bolívar y el Ejército Libertador, y se asocia a la reivindicación socioeconómica de los escenarios de dicha campaña y la materialización de la Propuesta Bolivariana de Integración Latinoamericana, en el marco de los artículos 9o., 96 y 227 de la Constitución Política.
