About this statute
This law authorizes the creation of a separate trust estate to pay the actuarial pension amount owed by Telecom and grants extraordinary powers to the National Government. Telecom is authorized to create a permanent public autonomous trust to manage pension commutation and pension payment obligations. A Board of Administration will manage the autonomous patrimony and must design the policies, plans, and programs for its term. Telecom may use its cash and investment securities to form the autonomous trust and adjust the budget as needed; the trust must make pension-related payments, and Confis must oversee compliance with the stated payment conditions. El artículo indica cuándo puede amortizarse el pagaré y a qué se destinan prioritariamente ciertos excedentes financieros; además, Confis debe vigilar su cumplimiento.
