About this statute

This law authorizes the Boyacá Department Assembly to issue the “estampilla Pro Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia” and provides other provisions. Se autoriza a la Asamblea de Boyacá a ordenar la emisión y la ampliación de la estampilla indicada, con topes máximos de $120.000 millones y $200.000 millones. La Asamblea Departamental de Boyacá queda autorizada para definir los elementos del gravamen y las reglas de uso obligatorio de la estampilla en ciertas actividades y operaciones en Boyacá y sus municipios. Departmental and municipal officials who take part in covered economic acts or events must adhere and cancel the stamp provided for in the law. La Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia must include a yearly public management report on the amounts, execution, and specific use of the Estampilla pro UPTC funds; the Boyacá departmental comptroller and municipal comptrollers are responsible for oversight of the collections.
