Statute overview

About this statute

This provision is the preamble for Law 721 of 2001 and says it modifies Law 75 of 1968. In paternity or maternity cases, the judge must order the scientific tests that determine a probability above 99.9%. If ADN evidence information is absolutely impossible to obtain, the case may be decided using testimonial, documentary, and other evidence. This article is repealed.
