About this statute

This law approves the agreement between the Governments of Ecuador and Colombia on border fairs and events. This article sets the regime for border fairs and events to be carried out in the Ecuadorian-Colombian Border Integration Zone. This article defines several fair-related terms: fairgrounds, retail sale, wholesale sale, fair sale document, and exhibitor. Border fairs are activities aimed at promoting reciprocal trade of products originating in the Parties’ territory.
