Statute overview

About this statute

The preamble says Colombia and Peru are adopting a cross-border air transport agreement to support integration, tourism, trade, and cultural exchange in the border area. This article defines “transporte aéreo transfronterizo” as air transport carried out between the airports or airfields of cities in the border region that the Parties designate for that purpose. This agreement regulates cross-border air transport to and from specified airports and aerodromes. Air transport of passengers, cargo, and mail under this Agreement may be operated as scheduled or non-scheduled flights.
