About this statute
This provision is the title and preamble of Law 947 of 2005, which reforms Law 424 of 1998 on follow-up to international agreements signed by Colombia. The National Government, through the Foreign Ministry, must annually submit a detailed report to the Second Foreign Relations Committees of the Senate and House. Certain Government departments must send treaty-related information to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which then sends it to the Second Committees; the reports must also include a detailed semiannual account of actions and results. The law takes effect when it is promulgated, and the added editorial validity notes and similar compilation materials may not be used for similar or commercial publications.
