About this statute

This preamble identifies Law 1015 of 2006, which sets the disciplinary regime for the National Police, and notes that it was later repealed. The disciplinary action is autonomous and independent from judicial or administrative actions. A person covered by this law acts unlawfully when their conduct affects a functional duty without any justification.
