Las Madres Comunitarias deben afiliarse con su grupo familiar al régimen contributivo de salud y reciben las prestaciones derivadas de ese régimen. Las Madres Comunitarias deben cotizar mensualmente al sistema de salud el 4% de la suma que reciben por bonificación, y las organizaciones administradoras deben recaudar y girar esos aportes a la EPS elegida. Las tasas de compensación cobradas por las Madres Comunitarias a los padres usuarios son de propiedad exclusiva de las Madres Comunitarias. The law takes effect when it is published and repeals any rules that conflict with it.
