This provision identifies Law 1070 of 2006 and says it regulates the voting of foreign residents in Colombia. Foreign residents in Colombia may vote in municipal and district popular elections and consultations, at the place where they last fixed their domicile. Los extranjeros residentes en Colombia pueden participar en ciertas elecciones locales. For municipal and district popular consultations, this provision says the applicable terms are those in Title V of Law 134 of 1994. Foreign residents in Colombia must register with the National Civil Registry within the legal time limits and present their resident foreigner ID.
