About this statute
This provision identifies Law 1132 of 2007 and states that it honors the municipality of Andalucía and includes other provisions. The Nation pays tribute to the municipality of Andalucía in the department of Valle and recognizes its inhabitants and contributors to its historical, cultural, and ecological development. The Nation, through the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Environment, and other sector entities, must support the promotion, protection, funding, and development of the economic, cultural, historical, and ecological values of the municipality of Andalucía. The national government, through the relevant ministries and decentralized entities, must promote the preparation of a strategic plan for Andalucía. The national government is authorized to add budget appropriations for designing and carrying out the listed works, and the investment programs and projects must be submitted in advance by the Valle department governorate.
