Statute overview

About this statute

This law assigns certain functions to notaries. This article says certain documents count as apparent titles for registering a declaration of regular possession. Material possession must be proved in the manner set out in Article 981 of the Civil Code, and it may also be proved by evidence of payment of district, municipal, or departmental taxes, contributions, and valuation charges.
