Statute overview

About this statute

This provision states that Law 1219 of 2008 establishes a contracting regime for expenditures classified as reserved. Certain reserved-expenditure payments that cannot be handled through ordinary channels are exempted from the ordinary State Contracting Statute procedures and must follow the special procedure created by this law. State entities must use this special contracting procedure for expenditures charged to reserved expenses when the spending authorizer determines they cannot be handled through the entity’s ordinary channels.
