About this statute

This law establishes rules to promote and regulate telework in Colombia. Esta disposición dice que la ley busca promover y regular el teletrabajo. This article defines telework and teleworker, and describes several telework forms. The national government, through the Ministry of Social Protection, must formulate a telework promotion public policy after a CONPES study. The ministry must also formulate, within six months of the law’s promulgation, a policy to bring vulnerable populations into telework. Se crea la Red Nacional de Fomento al Teletrabajo y se indica qué entidades y actores la integran; el Ministerio de la Protección Social la coordinará.
