About this statute
This law authorizes unpaid legal assistant service in national, territorial, and overseas executive-branch entities. Se autoriza prestar el servicio de auxiliar jurídico ad honórem en entidades de la Rama Ejecutiva; quien lo preste no recibe remuneración ni vínculo laboral con el Estado. Las facultades de derecho reconocidas oficialmente deben enviar y conservar listas de estudiantes con méritos académicos para que puedan ser considerados como auxiliares jurídicos ad honórem. The authorized ad honorem legal assistant service must be performed exclusively, full-time, for nine months, and counts as voluntary judicature for qualifying for the law degree instead of a thesis. Los auxiliares jurídicos ad honórem deben realizar funciones en las áreas jurídicas que les asignen sus jefes inmediatos.
