Statute overview

About this statute

This article defines key terms for the agreement, including investor, investment, returns, and territory, and excludes some items from the definition of investment. This Agreement applies to investments made by investors of either Contracting Party in the territory of the other Party, including investments made before or after the Agreement enters into force, but it does not apply to disputes or measures that arose or were adopted before entry into force.
