Statute overview

About this statute

This law amends the criminal code, criminal procedure rules, juvenile rules, asset forfeiture rules, and other security-related provisions. INPEC must provide information about people under house arrest to the National Police through a single information system, following parameters set by the Ministry of the Interior and Justice. A judge may order electronic monitoring as a substitute for prison if the legal conditions are met.
