Statute overview

About this statute

This provision introduces Law 1515 of 2012 and states that it approves the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for patent procedure purposes, together with its Regulations. The treaty’s states parties are constituted as a Union for international recognition of microorganism deposits in patent procedures. This article defines key terms used in the treaty and its regulation.
