La Nación rinde homenaje público y exalta la memoria del General José Antonio Anzoátegui. El Gobierno Nacional, por medio del Ministerio de Cultura, debe adoptar políticas para promover actividades sobre la vida e importancia del General José Antonio Anzoátegui en museos históricos y entidades de formación juvenil. The National Government, through the Ministry of Education, must take necessary measures to educate students in Colombia about the life and importance of General José Antonio Anzoátegui in the nation’s independence. Se autoriza al Gobierno Nacional a poner en circulación una serie filatélica en honor al General José Antonio Anzoátegui.
