About this statute

This is the preamble/title page for Law 1615 of 2013, which creates a special fund for managing assets of the Fiscalía General de la Nación and sets out general rules on how the asset administration systems function. This article creates the Special Fund for the Administration of Assets of the Fiscalía General de la Nación and sets out systems for managing the assets and resources assigned to it. The special fund must be set up as a fund-account with legal personality and administrative autonomy, and its legal representative is appointed by the Attorney General. El Fondo Especial para la Administración de Bienes de la Fiscalía debe administrar y controlar los bienes a su cargo y cumplir varias funciones de registro, conservación, aseguramiento, publicaciones, abandono y contratación. The Attorney General of the Nation may, by administrative act, delegate the authority to sign the public acts, contracts, and documents needed to apply the administration systems established by this law.
